How do I physically get my samples to STL Brew Lab?

  • Ship it to us using FedEx, UPS or DHL. USPS will not ship alcohol.

  • Drop it off at STL Brew Lab or one of our satellite partners.

  • Arrange for pickup in the STL metro area.

What do I need to know to ship?

  • Label each can or bottle of beer with “Sample for Analysis Only - Not for Human Consumption”.

  • Download, print and complete STL Brew Lab’s sample submission form and enclose it in your shipment.

  • Label your shipping box with the following

    • On the top of the box - “THIS SIDE UP”

    • “Samples for Laboratory Analysis Only”

    • “FRAGILE”

  • Label your samples with the unique identifier provided by STL Brew Lab in your order confirmation email.

  • You need the address!

What is the standard turnaround time for results?

Reports will be issued for samples tested in 7 - 10 days.

What are the minimum sample volumes required for testing?

Please provide a minimum of two 12 ounce containers per test requested.

How are my results delivered?

All data will be summarized in a report and provided to the client in PDF format.
